The top cowl coolant access door rear stiffener and surround have been fabricated and fitted and the mounts on the firewall adjusted to align the cowl correctly.

We have sourced the fastener springs and guide cups for the fasteners, have spaced them off and drilled the rails. We have fabricated the phenolic anti-chafing strips for the rails both upper and lower. All the seperate components have been primer painted and the cowls finally riveted together.

We will continue with the cowl construction again this month and move onto the side cowls.
