1. The complete month has been devoted to fabric covering the fuselage and doors. At this point, all the removable doors, and the side panels have been fabric covered and are finished thru to silver dope. The main fuselage has the fabric on the rear section aft of the wing through to two coats of gluing dope, and is now ready for the tapes.

2. We will continue with the fabric this month and should have the job complete by months end, weather permitting. The application of the silver dope to the fuselage requires nice weather.

Woodwork

The team have assembled the nose ribs & leading edge onto the front spar of the horizontal. This was followed by drilling the front spar holes for the attachment pickups and then glueing in the middle ribs.

This then has lead to fitting the bottom skins followed by fitting the hinges. Seal and paint inside.

Fit and glue top trailing edge shrouds and trial fit elevators. Fit, glue screw & brad top skins then fit the rest of trailing edge and trial fit elevators.

The wing ribs are all about finished except for engine ribs & rib 1 which cant be completed as they are waiting for ply.

Good progress also on the wing front main spar. Following the scarfing and cutting of the laminates last month they have the bottom laminated boom all glued together and the machining is underway. There are four laminated booms in the wing.
