Here is the December 2007 report on our work on the Mosquito.

1. Reasonably simple month for us this time with the arrival of the wing and the associated work that that allowed us to complete. The forward upper wing attach fittings had been left undrilled during the wing construction to ensure we could obtain the correct rigging when the wing was eventually fitted to the fuselage. To the delight of all, the brackets lined up perfectly and have now been drilled in place and bolted. The fuse side panels can now be fitted and trimmed.

2. Work has continued on the aileron rebuild with most of the components inspected, treated for corrosion and primed ready for re-assembly.

3. Work has begun on the firewall rebuild with the original firewalls undergoing dis-assembly and inspection.

4. Further hydraulic component testing has been completed with the hand pump now also finished and tested.

Now that the wing has been fitted to the fuselage we can finish the side panel installation and remove the wing ready for fabricing.
