1. Work has centered on the wing attach fittings this month. Drilling and attaching these components to the spars in the wing happens early in the wing production cycle, so we have got on with the preparation of these components. Most of the cleanup was done last month, and this month we have fabricated the missing and unserviceable items and finished the refurbishment of the rest. The steel fittings have all been magnaflux crack tested and the alloy items die penetrant tested. Where possible the steel has been plated.

2. The overhaul of the outer aileron bellcranks has been completed with the fabrication of the cable guard for one side..

3. We have continued with work on the crew access door with the installation of the “P” section sealing rubber and associated retaining strips. We have mounted the door step kick plate which doubles as the ladder mount and stay receptacle. We have fabricated the bump stops and the mounting blocks and plates for the latch catches.
